When people first meet Moli Ai, they usually notice the visuals.
She's introducing a coffee one day, offering dry commentary from an elevator the next, or ending up somewhere that would be difficult, or impossible, to visit in real life. Usually in a tan coat. Usually in sunglasses. Always with an unmistakably unbothered expression.
She's also unmistakably AI.
And that's intentional.
More than an AI avatar.
Moli Ai may resemble me, just with fewer birthdays and significantly more tan jackets than anyone can count. Her personality is inspired by the likes of Daria, Wednesday Addams, and yours truly.
But she isn't here to replace me.
She's here to expand my imagination.
She gives me a way to tell stories that don't exist in the real world but still feel unmistakably Moli Brew: stylish, caffeinated, introverted, and just sarcastic enough.
Why I created Moli Ai.
I've always had ideas. More ideas than time. More stories than I could realistically photograph. More campaigns than I could produce.
Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, a graphic designer, or even a database designer. Different careers on paper, but all built on the same things: creativity, curiosity, and a love of building.
AI gave me another creative tool. Not to replace my creativity, but to help visualize it.
Some days Moli Ai introduces a product. Other days she comments on work, dating, boundaries, fashion, or the simple pleasure of going home after coffee.
She isn't meant to be perfect. She's meant to be entertaining, relatable, and self-aware enough to make people smile.
Human first. AI second.
Every campaign begins with an idea.
Or a hundred. Who's really counting.
Every concept starts with me. I choose the story, the products, the creative direction, and the message.
Then comes the usual process: refine, tweak, rearrange, repeat. Usually more than once. ๐
AI helps bring those ideas to life in ways that would otherwise require a production team, an unlimited travel budget, and considerably more wardrobe changes.
Although I wouldn't complain about the wardrobe.
Yes, there are AI bloopers.
She may never call in sick, but she absolutely has AI bloopers.
Extra fingers. Mysterious objects. The wrong number of coffee cups. Sometimes the prompt missed. Sometimes the model missed. Sometimes we both need another try.
That's part of the process, and we'll show some of it too.
AI is a creative tool that still depends on human direction. The final result has to reflect the vision, personality, and values behind the brand.
Why I'm transparent about AI.
You'll never have to wonder whether Moli Ai is real.
She isn't. And she doesn't pretend to be.
I believe AI should be used transparently and creatively. It's one of the tools I use to tell stories and explore ideas, but it doesn't replace the human creativity behind them.
Every image and video begins with a human idea, evolves through refinement, and ends with a version that reflects my vision.
Where she goes next.
Moli Ai will keep evolving alongside Moli Brew.
Some days she'll introduce a new product. Some days she'll share dry observations from an elevator. Some days she'll travel somewhere that exists only through imagination.
And some days she'll surprise us with a hilariously imperfect AI moment.
The next time you see her, remember: she may be AI, but the creativity behind her is very human.
